The third weekend in October is always one of the most popular wedding weekends for Virginia. The leaves are starting to change, it begins to cool down, and the fall festivities are in full swing. The whole week before Mark and Casey’s wedding the weather was quite unpredictable. But Saturday came around, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful weather.
I’ve always loved photographing friend’s weddings, but this one was special to me. Zack and I know so many members of Mark and Casey’s families that it felt like we were celebrating with family. These two kids are so loved by so many, and their wedding day was a perfect example of all that love.
Zack and I were honored to be included in Mark and Casey’s day, both as members of their bridal party and as their photographers. We are so thankful for the love and friendship that we have gotten to share with these two. On Sunday, the day after Mark and Casey’s wedding, they joined me, Zack, and my family as we went out to celebrate our 6th anniversary. They are members of our family, and I’m so thankful for the time that we had with them and for the privilege it was to capture their beautiful wedding where they were surrounded by their family and friends!
Enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding day!
Mark had Zack deliver Casey a beautiful arrangement of flowers.
Zack was helping Mark put his shirt garter on. I typically wouldn’t post pictures like these on the blog, but considering the circumstances, I had to include this… so enjoy. 😉
