We knew it was going to be warm on an August evening in Virginia! Thankfully, Trevor and Alex chose Prestwould Plantation for their portraits; there was beautiful shade everywhere and as the sun was setting we got a much-needed break in the heat and that perfect summer glow. It was a fun evening capturing this exciting season in Trevor and Alex’s lives and it was a wonderful way of getting to know these two more.

I am so thankful these two found me. We hit it off immediately and even though they acted like they had no idea how to pose for engagement pictures, they absolutely crushed it. They have the sweetest way of making each other laugh and as a photographer, those moments are pure gold!!

Alex has their whole wedding day planned at the stunning Waverly Estate in Lunenburg, Virginia and we are all thrilled. I heard many times, “we are ready for the wedding day to be here.” Just look at how these two laugh at each other, I can’t imagine the smiles and laughs that we will get to capture of their wedding day!!
