To say that working with Ahsan & Ariel was a pleasure would be an understatement. They are both so kind, joyful and full of life. When we first met, it was like I had known them forever. Their kindness is an example to many. One of the things I love most about Ariel is her contagious laugh and gorgeous smile. Being around her just makes you happy. When she’s with Ahsan, somehow, she’s even more fun.

Ahsan and Ariel both live in Atlanta so we got to do a mini engagement session at Georgia Tech where they met. They were both attending studying Aerospace Engineering (like… what?). Ahsan is now back in school to be a doctor. (again… what?). They’re both incredibly intelligent and successful but they’re so humble and kind and their families are exactly the same way. I loved hearing all the stories about Ahsan and Ariel… stories about their love of travel, tea and especially their pet adventures. The love she has for her cats is very real and I love it. It’s very clear that these two are cherished by many.

It may have been the last weekend in December but it was a beautiful 70 degrees and perfectly sunny! We got to do their first look on the rooftop of the Virginian Hotel with downtown Lynchburg as our backdrop. They were so excited for the first look and you can see it in their photos. They couldn’t stop smiling and giggling… it was truly adorable! Ahsan and Ariel are pros and it shows in their portraits. They are such a joy to work with and it saddens me that our time with them is over!

This is the last wedding I will photograph this DECADE and I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple to end with than these two. Ahsan and Ariel, we adore you both!
