Ali booked with me back in November, and we’ve been emailing to set up their engagement session for months! We were both so excited for their session in May, but it got rained out, so we had to wait until July. We knew it’d be hot, but the weather was gorgeous, and the location could not have been more perfect. Andrew and Ali are so much fun. We hit it off right away! Ali is a wildlife biologist, and Andrew is a civil engineer; so let’s say that these two are busy. This location was perfect for them. Ali pointed out all kinds of fun plants and bugs and made sure to educate me about poison ivy, and now I finally feel like I can successfully avoid it! Obviously, Ali loves being outside, and Andrew loves the water and fishing. I think it fit them perfectly.

To say that I’m excited about their wedding in October would be an understatement. They are getting married at a brand new, stunning venue in Lexington, Virginia; The Seclusion. It’s an absolutely gorgeous venue, and it will be the perfect backdrop for their wedding day! I can’t wait to get to know this couple more as we continue planning their wedding day! Hurry up October. We are very much looking forward to cool nights, fall colors, and happy wedding days!
