Abby was a bridesmaid in one of my 2017 brides, Amanda Wilson’s wedding. When Abby reached out, I was so excited. I love working with people that I’ve met through other clients. Ryan and Abby were so easy to talk to and get to know.

As soon as we introduced ourselves, it felt like I had known them forever! As we walked around Georgetown, we heard about their wedding planning, their jobs, and what they love most in life. By the end of the day, we were laughing and even making fun of each other. That’s one of the things I love most about this job, making connections with people during the exciting times in their lives.

When they found me at the waterfront for their engagement session, I knew it was going to be a great day. Their outfits were just perfect (Can we talk about her beautiful floral dress?) and the weather was terrific. Georgetown was absolutely covered over in people, we dodged a lot of them, and you’ll notice there is hardly anyone else in their photos. The weather was beautiful, not too hot, not too cold and beautifully sunny. We hopped all over Georgetown, and as you can see, it was totally worth it. We walked around a bit to find gorgeous light, and I’m happy to say, we totally found it. These portraits make me so happy!! Enjoy!
