Derek and Courtney are getting married at one of my favorite places, Glencliff Manor and to make it even better, they are getting married in October… the best month ever. Derek and Courtney are both nurses. They both got jobs at Duke University… before they even graduated! How impressive is that? They will be moving this summer and coming back to Lynchburg in October for their wedding.

These two are so sweet and gentle. Their session was full of giggles and snuggling. During their engagement session, the wind was a little crazy and we had to take a few breaks, but we much preferred the wind to the rain that we were supposed to get on their originally scheduled date! The weather was beautiful and the sunlight was magical. Getting to know Derek and Courtney has been so fun and it makes the prep for their wedding day that much more exciting!

Their October wedding is going to be so much fun and now that we have all the core poses down, our portrait time on the wedding day will hardly take any time at all! You’ll be seeing more of these two in October and I can’t wait to continue sharing their love story with you all.
