The first wedding of 2019. The whole week before Sam and Laryssa’s wedding was quite gloomy. But Saturday came around, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful weather for January. The sun was shining, and even though there was a bit of wind, we were able to use that gorgeous sunshine and the stunning view of Lynchburg that the rooftop of the Virginian has to offer.

I can’t tell you how many people absolutely adore this couple; they are so loved. Sam and Laryssa might be two of the happiest people you will ever meet. They are always smiling, and most of the time, it’s at each other. They were so excited to get married. The genuine joy that filled the air when Sam turned around and saw Laryssa was a fantastic thing to watch. It was like these two were made for each other. Sam refers to Laryssa as “lovely Laryssa.” That simple phrase shows how much he cherishes her and her love.

Sam and Laryssa had a choreographed dance right after they were announced into their reception. This was the first time I had seen a bride and groom do a choreographed dance, and it was beyond adorable. Every single guest was smiling ear to ear. Their love is so joyful and pure, it’s so fun to watch. Their night was filled with speeches about what beautiful people they are and dancing that you couldn’t help but smile at while watching. Meeting these two has been such a blessing, and it was a joy to work with such a beautiful couple and sweet family to start out 2019!
