This past weekend we were supposed to get hit by a blizzard and as beautiful as a winter wonderland would have been for Frankie and Abby’s wedding, I’m glad the snow didn’t arrive until Sunday. No blizzard meant that these two amazing people were able to celebrate with 200 of their best friend’s and family and the weather didn’t keep anyone away. Frankie and Abby are two of the most adored people you will ever meet. Nobody has a bad thing to say about them — literally, no one. Everyone says that Frankie is the luckiest guy in the world to have found Abby and that Abby is the luckiest girl in the world to have found Frankie.

Their day went off without a hitch. The weather held off; it was chilly, but were still able to get beautiful photos! I am so glad we planned for a first look because it was one of the cutest I’ve seen. Zack and Frankie are on the Lynchburg Fire Department together, and all the guys at the firehouse say that Frankie is the “youngest old man they know.” To be honest, he’s kind of a worry wart. We were expecting him to be a nervous wreck on his wedding day, but he wasn’t. He was so excited to see Abby. When she tapped him on the shoulder, and he saw her for the first time, he said, “Damn, Janice” which obviously made Abby smile for ear to ear. Apparently, Frankie likes to call Abby “Janice,” and I think it’s adorable.

Getting to know Frankie and Abby has been such a joy. Their friends and family are the sweetest, and the hugs I got during this wedding meant the world to me. I’m convinced both of their families are angels. These two are some of the hardest working people I know, and if they put half the amount of work they do for their jobs into their marriage, it’s going to be amazing to watch what these two accomplish.
