To say that I was excited about this St. Augustine wedding would be an understatement. I look forward to all of the weddings that I photograph, but Rebecca is like a little sister to me. That little fact made her wedding day even more exciting. I’ve watched her grow into a beautiful young lady over the past 5 years and now, she’s a wife. I met Becca through her older sister Tab. Tab is one of my best friends that I met while in undergrad at Liberty. The Stricklen’s basically took me in as one of their own. They are a part of my Florida family and whenever we’re together, it feels like home. This family means the whole world to me and I’m so thankful for their love and friendship.

Cameron and Rebecca are perfect for each other. I knew it the second that I met Cameron at the Stricklen’s house a few years ago. Anyone that knows Becca knows that she can be a bit of a “blonde” and it’s perfect that Cameron likes to pick on her for it. She wouldn’t be Becca without it. Cameron challenges her, picks on her, spoils her, loves her and encourages her; their love is so genuine. As Rebecca and I were in the car on the way to their first look with Tab, all she could keep saying was, “I’m just so excited to see him.” Not a bit of her was nervous. She missed him and was so ready to celebrate their big day together.

St. Augustine is a busy beautiful beach town and the streets were filled with tourist. Tucked away from the square was the perfect quiet courtyard with the most stunning light. At their first look, they read their vows to each other and it was the perfect way to beginning their first look. They were back to back which allowed them to truly take in the promises they were making to each other. It’s hard to get lost in all of the emotions and distractions of a wedding ceremony, but this time together let them truly remember the moment.

Their wedding day was beautiful and they got to spend it with their best friend’s in the entire world. They danced the night away and left their wedding reception in a horse-drawn carriage. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
